Our Private Blue Ice Cave  tour is for nature lovers that wants to get into close connection to the nature and experience the ice caves and the glacier in private. The tour is a combination of a glacier hike and a ice cave tour to the most beautiful ice caves in Iceland each winter and to other beautiful areas on the biggest glacier in Europe. .The tour is approx 6-8 hours depends very much on your whishes . When you book we close it for others to book so it will be private for your group. In this tour we want to wake up early because we want to because we want you to experience the nature without to many other travelers in the area.  We always hike on an enjoyable speed to ensure every body in the group feel good and enjoy the stunning nature in the area.The Private Blue Ice  Cave Tour takes place in eastern part of Breiðamerkurjökull (vatnajokull) in a beautiful landscape and surrounding area. The tour is excellent for all nature lovers ,photographers , outdoor people who love to hike a little bit and for those who love extreme beautiful nature. The difficult level in this tour is rather moderate, not difficult,  people need to dress  warmly,in a good hiking shoes because sometimes it can get cold. Our aim is to provide high quality and personal guidings  in each tour we take and we put our customers experience in seat number one. All ice caves change from year to year both in size and colors and some photos that you see on web sites can be from the tours from the years before. Some winters we get them bigger and sometimes smaller but always beautiful. The nature is constantly shaping them. Each tour starts from the famous Glacier Lagoon (jokulsarlon) parking lot and it will be easy to find us there before take off.  We are looking forward to take you to this adventure in the wilderness of Iceland because we simply love to be there with you and enjoy the Icelandic nature to :) Minimum 2 pax, maximum 10 pax. 
What's included?

    All necessary gear such as helmets(compulsory) and crampons (if needed).

    Drive in a super jeep from Glacier lagoon, to the cave and back to Glacier lagoon.

    A local English speaking guide.

    Exclusions
      Please note

        Weather in Iceland can be unpredictable in the winter time and change swiftly so we advise you to spend the night before the tour, within one hour drive to Glacier lagoon.

        Notice that the distance from Reykjavík to Glacier lagoon(Jökulsárlón) is 380km or about 4-5 hours drive in best conditions.

        We do not arrange for any other transport than from Glacier lagoon, to the cave and back to Glacier lagoon.

        What to bring

          Outdoor clothing based on weather conditions at the time of the trip. Such as hat, gloves etc.
